Vintage Eicor Microphone 1950s For Repair w/ Cord Brush Patent

Up for sale here is this nice vintage microphone, most likely from the 1950s or late 1940s.  It is marked "Eicor" on the front, and on the back and the inside it says that it's made under Brush patents.  This is a really neat vintage mic.  Unfortunately, it does not seem to work.  I tested the RCA end with my multimeter and it read "open line."  I did not do any work on this, other than open it to take a pic of the inside.  This is sold as non-working due to the fact that it doesn't work.  Please see my pictures for details.
