Vintage DBX 3BX Dynamic Range Expander

Description

Here is a vintage DBX 3BX Dynamic Range Expander. It is in very nice condition for its age. It powers up and appears to work as it should. I plugged it in to my receiver with a turntable on the output and it seems to work fine but I do not have a cassette player to really see what it does. I gave it a good cleaning but the top has some marks on the right side that may require some additional cleaning. The wood casing is solid with no cracks but there are some small chips on each side. I tried to show these flaws in the photos.
