Vintage 1980's Electro-Voice N/D 457 Microphone Dynamic Hypercardioid EXCL!
Bought in 1989, used occasionally from 1991-1993 in a home recording studio only. Has 20-40 hours of use, maximum. Never used in public or for gigs/bands. Great mike for vocals, lead and harmony!
Original, one and only owner. Close to new condition, the original elastomeric warm-grip handle still there, recently cracked while polishing, had to re-glue a small piece that fell off. Could probably be remedied with a wrap of electricians tape or duct tape, or buy a new slip-on rubber handle grip from EV for around .00. Or, just not use one. The mic is in near- perfect condition, no dings, very little signs of wear/age, no mold or dirt/dust, no issues of any kind. Comes in original case in great/almost-new condition, comes with Redline XLR cable in great condition, even has the adhesive Electro-Voice original decal in the case.
As i said, almost no signs of wear/use, close to new. Have not tested, i do not have the equipment for that. So you buy as is. But it is in the same condition as when last used in 1993. And that was Excellent/almost like-new.
I am downsizing, selling what I do not use or need. Lots of vintage stuff. I am selling because I do not need and have not used for  years. Your chance to get a great vintage mic in almost-new condition. But, yes, some very small signs of wear/age that would come with using this for 20-40 hours, at home only.
