Offering a vintage beautiful
1960's era
SHURE Brothers 440SL Microphone, working with 3' cable
terminating with a 1/4" male phono plug.
Overall, this mic is in
stellar condition
with barely a sign of wear in the paint. (The original pickup element had been replaced by a previous owner with a new full range dynamic element as shown in the final photo.) Testing proved
strong output and clean fidelity
with a nice sharp Shure maker's badge. This mic can be hand-held, and also has a standard thread for mounting to a desk stand. These were marketed for general voice, P.A., two-way communications, but are also highly sought after by amplified harmonica musicians.
