Vintage 1950S American Microphones Company DD-1-M Desk Stand Shure Antique Old

Hello my name is John. I restore, recondition vintage microphones for display, prop and functional use. I am offering this 1950's era American microphones Company desk stand in it's original box. I have only had a few of these in my hands and this model with the quality chrome finish and unique design is my favorite of all the old chrome stands I have come across. This is one of a lot of 3 that I was able to get. I knew they were made by the American microphone company, but did not know a model number until now. The cosmetic condition is well above average and all threading is clear on the stand and riser tube. The rubber scratch ring is complete on the bottom also. The heavy base is 5 inches round and the full height to the top of the threading is 4 1/4 inches. The riser tube has 2 scratches on the back. ( see pic # 9). The bottom of the box is in ruff shape. The threading is the standard 5/8 for mounting a microphone. I am also including a tension ring (see pic #10) that can be used if desired.
