    Hello my name is John. I restore, recondition vintage microphones for display, prop and functional use. I am offering this 1940's, early 50's era Electro Voice V-1 velocity ribbon microphone with era desk stand for display or prop use as the original element is sagging and non-working. There are a few people that do ribbon and motor replacement at a reasonable cost to get these in functional condition. This one is in good, average condition with normal wear from age and us on the chrome body and screens. All threading is clear and the model badge is in good condition. The heavy metal base is 6 inches round and the full height with the microphone mounted is 12 inches. A very nice vintage set.
