In the mode of 1940's styling, offering thisremodded/customized professional sounding ribbon microphone
. The metal casing was actually salvaged from a vintage police radio speaker, has been gutted, stripped, repainted, completely remodded and customized with a new high-quality ribbon motor and transformer with foam interior to dampen the sound, and now ready to begin a renewed life as a working microphone. An Altec badge has been added. This thing
produces rich fidelity
that ribbon mics are best known for with
plenty of output.
The aluminum yoke supports the mic casing with two side thumbscrews to hold the tilt angle in place. A standard thread allows the mic to mount to any desk or floor stand....the
desk stand you see I

, adjustable from 16"-21", with a heavy iron base and rubber pads to protect your desktop. The mic's hardwired to a 2 foot shielded cable with 3 pin male XLR plug. (We can swap the XLR for a male 1/4" phono plug if you prefer.)
