Teletronix Urei JBL T4B Original Optical attenuator, New, OEM, with box, instructions, and resistor.  I have 3 of these units, all purchased directly from JBL in 2006.  Like many other engineers, I was building my own LA2A compressors, and bought these because they were better than the home-made attenuators, and easy to get.  I actually have the email confirmation of my order from Janet Evans, the tent sale coordinator at Harman/JBL, on February 22, 2006.  I bought 6, used 2 and am keeping one as a spare, so I am selling 3 here.  After almost 15 years, the ones I originally installed are working fine.
Here's what you are looking at.  Each of these units came with a resistor taped to the side of the case.  The purpose of the resistor is to make sure that the meter tracks accurately along with the T4B, as they are all a little different.  So before shipping the T4B, JBL matched them to the correct resistor.  In addition, they are wrapped in an instruction sheet that tells how to install the resistor.
Two of them are in open boxes.  I have no idea why I opened them, but they have not been used.  The third is in a still-sealed box.  They are all brand new as received from JBL.  The first buyer will get the sealed box, unless you want one of the others.
