Shure Brothers unidyne vintage microphone model 55s Multi Impedance.
I bought this microphone like 20 years ago and it sat on the shelf as a display. 11 years ago it got packed in a box and has been there since.
I have no idea if it works. I assume it doesn’t. If you move it from side to side you can hear a loud clunk from it. As if whatever is inside isn’t secured down and is rattling around.
As you can see in the pics, the bottom front left side is damaged and bent. Could it be straightened out? I have no idea.
There is a crack(?) or maybe it’s broken in the area below the ribs. See the pic where the pencil is pointing to it.
“Lynn” scratched their name in it by the plug in.
Model 55s on the blue tag
It appears to be missing a logo button in the center
So that’s all the details. Not sure if it’s only good for display, parts, or if you can refurbish it.

It’s been stored in a box in a garage for over 10 years, a manly garage were people worked on cars, used chemicals, smoked cigars, cussed and ..... in other words it Could be dusty and or stinky. That’s your warning. No attempt has been made to clean it.
