Serviced dbx 1BX Dynamic Range Expander (Upgraded Caps & DeoxIT Controls)

Description

This 1BXs is in excellent condition.  Because this unit has some very minor blemishes on the unit, it's priced to sell fast.
Recently, this 1BX was inspected and professionally serviced.  All electrolytic capacitors were upgraded with audio-grade Elna (see photo) or Cornell Dubilier.  The bad solder joints were also repaired.  I cleaned the controls and switches with DeoxIT as well as removed oxidation on the RCA jacks (see photo).  I even lubricated the sliders with Nye synthetic grease.  The wooden sides were stained and re-coated with polyurethane.
Moreover, this 1BX was thoroughly bench tested before being listed.  It's easy to operate a 1BX and it adds a very nice expansion to LPs and tapes without being over powering.
