Reproduction RCA 91-A cast iron desk stand for the 44 Series of RCA Microphones

This is an accurate reproduction of the 91-A base in Umber Gray color (we are out of the Black color). The photos are of an actual reproduction base.
First the poured cast iron base is filed smooth by hand and given a series of four coats of epoxy paint (the type used for resurfacing bath tubs and sinks). There are two primer coats and two umber gray coats, with hand sanding in-between each coat. The pattern made from an original and the bases themselves were made in Portland, Oregon.
Instructions are included showing how to remove the screw threaded bottom of the 44 microphone yoke and use the three removed screws to attach the yoke to this base.
There is also a reproduction RCA product label glued to the bottom. Three rubber feet, similar to the original metal and felt feet which are no longer available, are mounted on the bottom. To safeguard selling these bases as orginal RCA product, the year of manufacture is embosed on the cast iron underneath the base. Otherwise, it has the RCA numbers embosed underneath.
This base is ideal for desk use, or for displaying your 44 microphones.
There is also a reproduction RCA product label glued to the bottom. The original metal and felt feet are no longer available so we have used rubber feet mounted on the bottom. To safeguard these bases being mistaken as original RCA product, the year of manufacture is embossed directly in the cast iron underneath the base.
