    Description

    Up for sale is an Original Vietnam War USAF Official B+W Air Force Reconnaissance Photograph (6). All of these photographs came from a local estate sale of a American U.S. Air Force Veteran who served just before and during the Vietnam War. We never got the name of the veteran or any of his uniforms or anything, they weren't for sale, but there were TWO (2) USAF Sq. Patches at the sale that were also his; apparently they were the units he served with. We have since sold those two patches already (on eBay to be exact) but if I remember correctly, our company records indicate they were:
    1) an Original Pre-Vietnam War USAF 4604th Support Squadron Patch
    2) an Original Vietnam War USAF 60th Interceptor Fighter Squadron Patch
    I've included one of the Original Listing Photographs showcasing one of these patches to provide further proof (for you "eye rollers" out there) to the origins of these pictures. THE PATCH IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE THOUGH. As I already said before, we sold these patches a while ago and no longer have them in our possession. Just the photographs; that is all.
    Now the item you'll be receiving is an Authentic Period Photograph, not a reprinted copy. A lot of people leave that distinction somewhat vague in an effort to "swindle" you in to thinking your buying an Authentic Print, when in fact you're simply getting a Reprint of an Original. THIS IS NOT A REPRINT. It is an actual period piece; one of several which we acquired, purchased directly from the Veteran's Estate. Many of the pictures have the word "CONFIDENTIAL" stamped on them somewhere in black ink, and the vast majority of them also have the inscription:
    DET 7, 600 PHOTO SQ
    DA NANG AB VIETNAM
    --stamped in purple ink on the reverse. The dimensions of this photograph are 8 1/16×9 15/16 inches (L×W).
    Overall this item is in excellent condition; exhibiting only minor wear and some natural aging.
