Description
A U.S. Navy Douglas A-1H Skyraider from Attack Squadron VA-215 Barn Owls ready for launching aboard the aircraft carrier USS Hancock in 1965. In the background are a Vought F-8C Crusader from Fighter Squadron VF-24 Red Checkertails and an F-8E from VF-211 Checkmates. The aircraft were assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 21 for a deployment to Vietnam from 21 October 1964 to 29 May 1965.
The photo was taken during attacks by the carriers of Task Force 77, USS Ranger, USS Coral Sea, and USS Hancock, which conducted air strikes against North Vietnamese bases utilized as training and staging bases for the infiltration of South Vietnam on 7 and 11 Feb 1965 and on 16 and 19 Mar 1965. 13" x 19" Vietnam

Different Sizes Available
Most photos are available in 5" x 7", 8" x 10", 11" x 14", 11" x 17", or 13" x 19". Some photos are not available in certain sizes due to format or resolution. Please contact me if I have a photo that you want in a different size and I will see if it is available.
Shipping
All photos are shipped in a clear sleeve. 8" x 10" and smaller are shipped flat in a cardboard mailer. Anything larger than 8" x 10" is rolled and shipped in a tube. If you purchase an 8" x 10" or smaller with a larger photo, all will be rolled. We do combine shipping up to six, after that shipping if free (USA only). If the right shipping amount does not come up when you go to pay, please contact me for a correct invoice.
