    Description

    Offering a vintage
    1930's-40's PHILCO Microphone/Speaker Model 28-7324
. Measuring 4 x 4.5", these units were sold with "Radio-Phono" consoles that had a "home recording" option that would allow you to record right onto the turntable, cutting direct to disc. This unit is in
    beautiful condition
. The metal chromed exterior is near flawless and t
he frontal cloth grill is clean and undamaged.
The original paper dynamic "speaker" element is intact and still provides decent fidelity that works on any amplifier with a microphone input. (It will need more gain/amplification than a modern element but still provides usable output level.) The "on-off" slide switch on the rear is functioning, and a new short cable has been hardwired with a 1/4" male phono plug.  Note that the round pedestal base can be unscrewed so this unit can be threaded onto any standard 5/8" desk or floor stand. (See final 2 photos.) This vintage mic displays nicely and works well.
    NOTE
    :
The chromed desk stand shown in the FINAL photo is NOT included, used only for staging
    .
