BEYER M80 BEYERDYNAMIC M-80 CARDIOID MICROPHONE VINTAGE 1966 XLR w/ STAND WORKS

Description

This circa-1965-1966 Beyer M-80 cardioid microphone is in near-mint condition and includes a small desktop stand. It has a 3-prong XLR-type plug, looks like it was possibly wired to be used with a reel tape recorder or some type of radio equipment. It is wired just like a standard XLR plug, but the prongs are too small and fit too loosely. I tested it by plugging the three prongs into my XLR mic cable using three small pieces of wire. It worked and sounded great. Cosmetically, microphone looks like it got very little use, if it was ever used at all. It's very heavy for its size, and has a smooth brushed aluminum body.
