Two passenger configuration vintage passenger seat in its original frame. The rare seats come from Valuejet aircraft N917VV which was acquired in November 1994. After the airline became Airtran Airways the fabric on the seat was converted to the new airline seat interior design.
The seats and specific row can be confirmed to be part of this historic Airline with its seat frame decals as well as the seat cover labels from Airtrain. The seats work great and all mechanisms work and are in excellent condition.
This airplane was delivered brand new from the factory to Delta Airlines in April 1969 and then leased to Aserca Airlines in Venezuela for nearly two years. The seat frame could have been the original. but no documentation to confirm.
At the end of this  iconic DC-9-30 the airplane was preserved at the Georgia Aviation and Technical college from 2002-2015 for aviation ground instruction, training and other related studies. This workhorse airplane ended its life in the skies registered by the FAA records as N817AT. During 2015, it was auctioned for scrap metal and these seats acquired and kept under secret and delicate care and now available to aviation enthusiasts.
To preserve the great history of these passenger seats, the fabric cover has been kept to the best of its extent. There are some minor wear and tear on one of the seat cushions. However the rest of the seat is in great and good working conditions!
