Adapter Box, For Testing Yamaha, Tascam, and  Procontrol DB25 Connectors. For testing and troubleshooting cables, patchbays, etc.
This is a really cool timesaver that we built a few years ago for testing and troubleshooting installs and custom cables and boxes. It has three DB25 female connectors in palallel that are wired for the Yamaha, Tascam, and Procontrol pinouts. To test a cable wired to any of those standards you just plug it into the appropriate connector and then select the channel you want to test, using the rotary switch. The selected channel will appear on the male and female XLR connectors, and the 3 banana plugs. With this box you can easily check low, high, and shield connections for continuity and shorts. You can also use the box to inject or monitor a signal.
We'll include a DB25 gender changer so you can also use this tester with female DB25's. Guaranteed to work properly.
