3M M79 1/2" Tape Guide Owned By Dale Manquen 3M Mincom Recorder MANCO

For your purchase here, you get one (1) piece, not the 5 shown in the last photo. I have five of these I will be listing on eBay, four of them (1-4) for 1/2" tape and one of them (5) for 1/4" tape. Even the 1/2" ones aren't all exactly the same, either they had four designs for the same thing or did all their machining by eyeball. For simplicity, I'm listing them one at a time, you are now viewing a listing for one of them, and for your future reference, I have marked them all 1-5 with a pen and added that photo to the end of the photo gallery here. If you want me to make a listing for all of them, I will, but I didn't so far because all five are different so I couldn't put them in a multi-item listing, either, as some idiots do (you can't Dutch five items that aren't the same).
This is a 1/2" tape guide (presumably 2-track and 4-track) for the 3M Mincom M79 tape recorder. I don't know if this is applicable to the older M56 and M23 models or now. This was owned by Dale Manquen and had been sealed in plastic for many years, and I opened it just for these photos.
Working condition unknown, sold as-is for parts/repair, no returns/refunds.
Dale Manquen was an electronic engineer/designer at 3M Mincom tape recorder division in Camarillo, California, and later his company was MANCO. Synhouse has dozens of items from the Dale Manquen estate, mostly NOS 3M PCBs/PCBAs from the 1960s and 1970s, but also three card cages, test jigs, and other items, some of which the function was only known to him. This will be VERY safely packed for shipment. I really, really pack things correctly (here in this 31st year I've been in the international mail order business).
Free local pickup in the Los Feliz district of L.A. is okay if you can
work around my busy schedule.
