These are an actual Casting of an Antique Clothes Line Tightener that has been in use for 100 years
We have obtained the old patterns and are now making them in our local foundry.
---All high tensile aluminium, no rusting or deterioration.
You only need 1 per wash line  wire and they are being sold as in a quantity of (4) pieces
as most wash lines have 3 to 4 wires.
I have used them for 50 years and they are still holding tight.
These are the best old time tightner duplication of an actual antique tightner that really works or you can return it to me
Just stick the clothes line wire thru the hole in the center and use an adjustible wrench to turn
Then turn the wheel until your line is as tight as you want it to be.
Then insert the metal stop into the cog and presto your wire is tight,safe and secure .
This unit is manufactured from aluminium in the USA and is guarenteed
against failure or breakage. Of course no abuse is allowed.
