    Description

This is a Barcus-Berry preamp made in 1974.  I bought it brand new in '74!  It is in good condition and fairly clean. Sensitivity potentiometer stem broke but was repaired to working condition with epoxy and a re-enforcing screw.  Knobs were replaced with new white ones which are the set screw tightening type. (Originals were black witch hat style and 3 of them will be included in the sale.  Two are missing the silver top as shown in the pictures)
The preamp functions.  I did test it with a D'Angelico 12 string guitar with a built-in bridge pickup.  To really know how it sounds, one must have a Barcus-Berry pickup in your instrument.  I do not have one.  I used to have one which I did use with this preamp, (years ago in the '70's), so I feel that it is likely to be functioning normally now.
Since I cannot absolutely prove that it is in perfect working order, I must sell it "as described" with no returns.
